How did the Church get involved in the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine?

The European Parliament will hold a seminar on "The humanitarian response to the war in Ukraine" on Tuesday, 12 July 2022. The event will be hosted by Mr Othmar Karas, First Vice-President, responsible for Article 17 dialogue with Churches, Religious Associations or Communities.

On behalf of CROCEU (The Committee of Representatives of the Orthodox Churches to the European Union) will participate Fr. Ciprian Ioniță, Coordinating Patriarchal Adviser at the Social-Philanthropic Sector of the Romanian Patriarchal Administration, who will present how the Romanian Orthodox Church rallied to respond to the war crisis.
