Meeting with the new General Secretary of COMECE

On Tuesday, October 15 2019, Fr. Manuel Barrios Prieto, the new General Secretary of COMECE, met in Brussels with several members of CROCEU, including Rev. Archpriest Sorin Selaru. The encounter occasioned a fruitful discussion on possible joint efforts for 2020 and after.

In light of the Article 17 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU, the CROCEU members presented the main directions of their activity and their interest in reinforcing the collaboration with COMECE in some priority areas, such as religious freedom, solidarity, migration, democracy, ecology, and Christian mission.
